Chunks clips and claws are primarily made from cellulose acetate, a plant-derived bio-plastic, certified ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification). Compared to petroleum-based plastic, acetate is more durable and more biodegradable at end of life.
Acetate and metal hardware tested and free from Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Chromium, PBBs, PBDEs and Phthalates.

A maybe unintended benefit of the teeth being split like this is that it makes wearing the clip with a baseball cap easier, would be cool to see in more styles of clips imo
