Chunks clips and claws are primarily made from cellulose acetate, a plant-derived bio-plastic, certified ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification). Compared to petroleum-based plastic, acetate is more durable and more biodegradable at end of life.
Acetate and metal hardware tested and free from Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Chromium, PBBs, PBDEs and Phthalates.

This claw clip is the most secure clip I’ve ever had for my long, straight, thick hair. However, it’s still not secure enough for my needs. I think I may need an even bigger claw clip to hold all my hair. It also broke within the first week of me owning it (only wore it about three times). It had exploded while in my hair. The chunks team was amazing and replaced it no problem, but I’m scared to wear my new one. It’s so pretty and I don’t want it to break again. I really like this brand so I plan on buying a bigger clip when I’m able to :)
