Chunks clips and claws are primarily made from cellulose acetate, a plant-derived bio-plastic, certified ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification). Compared to petroleum-based plastic, acetate is more durable and more biodegradable at end of life.
Acetate and metal hardware tested and free from Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Chromium, PBBs, PBDEs and Phthalates.

Overall this clip is pretty good. It’s super cute and I love that there’s a larger size option. I have very long/thick/straight hair and noticed that the clip fell loose more frequently than the one I usually use from Target. Would love to try a clip with another set of teeth, I think the acetate is just so slippery it needs a little more grip.

unfortunately i wore it so much the teeth got unglued and fell off on one side :( never had this issue with the molded one-piece ones
