Chunks clips and claws are primarily made from cellulose acetate, a plant-derived bio-plastic, certified ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification). Compared to petroleum-based plastic, acetate is more durable and more biodegradable at end of life.
Acetate and metal hardware tested and free from Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Chromium, PBBs, PBDEs and Phthalates.

Obviously was first struck by how adorable this claw clip is, but I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and quality the design is also! I have thick hair and was very grateful to find it was strong enough to hold it and didn't feel like it was in danger of breaking. Will definitely be purchasing more from Chunks!

I have very long, fine hair and this clip doesnt hold my hair in an updo or even a half up half down. I have tried a 1000 different ways it just slides right down or my hair is not secure at all. Super disappointing but the product is super cute and just as pictured.

I loooove the colors of the this clip. They are just as rich and vibrant in person and the clip itself still holds my very fine hair and stays secure. It isn't too heavy and the pearl detail is so cute! The only thing to keep in mind is that the pearl moves a lot and makes a bit of a clicking sound. I glued the pearl to the clip because the noise was a little annoying, but it was such an easy fix and its my favorite detail!!

This is the most beautiful claw clip ever!! I truly love her. The pearl is so fun and special. My only complaint is that it takes a much bigger squeeze to open compared to all my other Chunks clips, can hurt my fingers a tiny bit.

I recieved this clip about a month ago and just got around to wearing it the past week. Its soooo cute and very comfortable, however I expected more durability out of a $26 clip. Today while sitting at dinner I was readjusting the clip and dropped it onto rhe floor where one of the pink pieces broke off, and the pesrl from the other side fell off. I dont expect it to withstand crazy throwing or being dropped multiple times but I dont think a drop frim table height should break it.
