Chunks clips and claws are primarily made from cellulose acetate, a plant-derived bio-plastic, certified ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification). Compared to petroleum-based plastic, acetate is more durable and more biodegradable at end of life.
Acetate and metal hardware tested and free from Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Chromium, PBBs, PBDEs and Phthalates.

These barrettes are great for thick hair. I think they would work well on medium thick hair too. I have this style in every color. I finally had to get them all. I use them for a half back clip. Very cute and simple.

I own two of these because I was afraid it would stop existing and I love it so much! It's a little wider than a typical french clip which I love and I like that it has a memphis design look in black on my dark hair :)

Good look and sturdy. I can’t quite get the barrette to lie flat, though, when I want to use it as a side barrette. Maybe if I centered it on the back of my head. I do have straight hair so maybe this doesn’t grip as well as other products (so right now I use the claw and alligator clips more often). Keeping this clip as I think I can still make use of it.
